Welcome to Dog Rescue Link

This website has been set up to assist dog rescue charities, organisations and rescue groups. We aim to to do this by helping to find foster homes/forever homes or rescue spaces for At Risk dogs in UK pounds, but also to help any dogs that are currently in kennels at rescue organisations, and are looking for foster care or permanent homes. We also need to establish a transport network of people who can help transport the dogs from all areas of the UK. If you can offer your help by transporting dogs, your help is urgently needed. please contact us. Telephone 07986 856300 or email: admin@dogrescuelink.org

Rescue groups and individuals - if you have details of any dog who is at risk of destruction, please send details to Cathy: admin@dogrescuelink.org giving as much information about the dog/dogs as possible. We will then list the details on this site. Please also be sure to give us your contact details.

We are here to provide a network of support for dogs on ‘Death Row’ via this website. The lists of Urgent dogs are updated daily.

URGENT DOGS

These dogs are on ‘Death Row’ and currently at risk of being put to sleep. Please take a look at this list of lovely dogs. These dogs need rescue spaces, foster carers or forever homes to get them out of immediate danger!

RESCUES - All rescues who kindly offer their help must have a no destruction policy, homecheck all prospective owners and ensure that the dog is returned to your rescue should the owner no longer be able to keep the dog.

if you can offer a rescue space to one of these at risk dogs, please get in touch with the relevant contact listed with each individual dog’s details.

URGENT DOGS IN KENNELS & EMERGENCY BOARDING KENNELS Although not in danger of being put to sleep, the dogs on these pages have either been in kennels for a long period of time, and are longing for a forever home to call their own, or a foster home to get them out of kennels. Or they are dogs who have been on ‘death row’ in pounds and urgently need a rescue space. Please look at these beautiful dogs!

Home Checkers also urgently needed - please get in touch with the relevant contact listed with each individual dog’s details.

According to The Dog’s Trust 2007 Stray Dog Survey, 7,892 dogs were unnecessarily destroyed in the UK last year. These figures are shocking and unacceptable.
